Mark Oei is the Founder and Managing Partner at Redwood Coast Capital. Mark has 25 years of experience in the private equity and investment management sector. He was a Co-founder of Sequoia Heritage, a $15 billion diversified investment platform within the Sequoia Capital group of funds. Prior to Sequoia, Mark was a Managing Director at Oaktree Capital Management, an investment management firm with $100 billion of assets under management. In the earlier stages of his career, he spent time at Morgan Stanley as a Vice President in the Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds and the Mergers and Acquisitions department.

Mark earned his undergraduate degree from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley and completed his MBA at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is an Adjunct Lecturer at Kellogg and serves as an advisory board member for the Kellogg real estate program.
